Truist

After working on the client side of SunTrust (now Truist) commercial bank, I moved over to the commercial product management team. I ran a product called DirectConnect which was essentially a daily connection from the bank to QuickBooks Pro. Today most clients would just use QuickBooks Online for free.

With over 4,000 clients generating $1.2 million in fee revenue my role was to understand the product, educate the sales team on its capabilities and identify operational gaps. Once SunTrust and BB&T merged, we had to seamlessly migrate customers under both banks and then build toward a solution for the new bank.

Biggest learnings here came from what a enterprise agile-focused product team looks like that is limited to 2-4 major code pushes a year!
